We are known as a very friendly club with our aim being the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by providing the facilities for playing lawn bowls.
Currently we have approximately 50 members, men and ladies, and we are based at the King George V playing fields, in Blackshots Lane, Grays.
For our bowlers we offer and extensive fixture list fielding both Men's and Ladies teams into the Thurrock & District leagues as well as District, County and National Competitions. Many of our bowlers also enjoy the weekend friendlies against local clubs in Essex and Kent.
Internal club competitions and a weekly roll up are always popular.
New bowlers are always welcome and we offer a free weekly coaching opportunity so that after 4 weeks you can see if bowling is for you.
Full Membership is open to all individuals including juniors. Our Associate Members enjoy all the privileges of our social activities that include our Drums Social Slub including the bar along with the winter socials. Social facilities of the Club are also available to Members' Partners.
